By combining diverse perspectives and decades of institutional knowledge, the team will help identify opportunities, shape strategic initiatives and support decisions that move Carbis forward and position the company for continued growth and long-term success.
Meet the Enterprise Advisory Team
Shawn Mizell | President
A fourth-generation leader of the family-owned Carbis organization, Shawn has spent 38 years with the company, gaining an unmatched perspective on its people, culture and evolution. As President, she provides strategic leadership and helps guide Carbis as the company continues to grow and evolve.
Katrina Stone | Director of Operations
Katrina has been with Carbis for 19 years, progressing through roles in Customer Service, process development, Customer Service Management and Production Management before becoming Director of Operations. In her current role, she provides leadership across the company’s core operational functions and brings a broad understanding of the organization and its processes.
Jason Shannon | Director of Sales & Marketing
Jason has spent 14 years with Carbis, building his career from Outside Sales Representative to Regional Manager and ultimately Director of Sales & Marketing. His progression through sales leadership has given him a strong understanding of Carbis’ customers, markets and commercial strategy, while his current role connects those perspectives across sales and marketing.
Kent Stidham | Production Manager
With 27 years at Carbis, Kent brings extensive experience from the company’s manufacturing operations. After beginning his career in welding and fitting and rigging, he spent most of his career in Quality Control before moving into production leadership. Today, he oversees production across both the Florence and Darlington facilities.
Kristan Gause | Controller
Kristan has spent 12 years with Carbis and has progressed through virtually every level of the company’s accounting organization, from collections and accounts receivable to accounts payable, Accounting Manager and ultimately Controller. Her experience provides a comprehensive perspective on Carbis’ financial operations and the business.
Lindsey Lunsford | Regional Sales Manager
With 19 years at Carbis, Lindsey has built her career through a variety of customer- and sales-focused roles, including Customer Service, International Distributor Management and Outside Sales. Her experience working directly with customers, distributors and the sales organization has given her a broad perspective on the business and the markets Carbis serves. She now brings that perspective to her role as Regional Sales Manager.
Built on Experience. Focused on the Future.
Together, the six members of the Enterprise Advisory Team represent nearly a century of combined experience with Carbis. Each has developed their career within the organization while gaining firsthand perspectives from different areas of the business.
That depth of institutional knowledge, combined with the team’s diverse perspectives, will help Carbis evaluate opportunities, shape strategic initiatives and continue building on the foundation that has positioned the company for long-term success.
“Carbis has a tremendous depth of knowledge and experience within our organization,” said Shawn Mizell, President of Sam Carbis Solutions Group. “The Enterprise Advisory Team brings together six leaders with different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives, allowing us to look at opportunities and challenges from an enterprise-wide view. Our goal is to use that collective perspective to help Carbis move forward with greater clarity, alignment and purpose.”
The formation of the Enterprise Advisory Team reflects Carbis’ continued commitment to strategic growth, innovation and building a strong foundation for the company’s future
